1 Killed in Orange County Crash on I-10 W near FM 1136
Orange County, TX. - A 26-year-old man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning in Orange County.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on I-10 West near mile marker 870 and FM 1136 at around 5:15 a.m.
A 2006 Acura driven by a 26-year-old man was traveling westbound when it hydroplaned and struck a concrete barrier, causing a chain reaction crash involving a 2020 Freightliner truck tractor semi-trailer, a 2006 GMC pickup truck, and a 2020 Freightliner truck tractor semi-trailer.
Paramedics pronounced the driver of the Acura dead at the scene.
More details about the crash were not immediately available.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
