1 Killed in Plano Car Crash at Mission Ridge Rd and West Parker Rd
Plano, TX. - A 27-year-old woman died in a two-vehicle accident on Friday afternoon in Plano.
According to the Plano Police Department, the fatal crash occurred at the intersection of Mission Ridge Road and West Parker Road at around 2:40 p.m.
A Nissan Frontier traveling westbound on West Parker Road attempted to turn southbound onto Mission Ridge Road and collided with an Infiniti QX50 traveling eastbound on West Parker Road.
The Infiniti veered off the road after the collision and struck a light pole.
A passenger in the Infiniti was pronounced dead at the scene.
Paramedics transported the driver of the Infiniti to the hospital with serious injuries.
The occupant in the Nissan was evaluated at the scene and released.
More information on the accident was not provided.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
