1 Killed in Plano Pedestrian Accident on State Highway 121 near Stonebriar Center
Plano, TX. - A woman died after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday morning in Plano.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred on State Highway 121 near the Stonebriar Center at around 1:30 a.m.
The woman reportedly got out of a vehicle on State Highway 121 and ran across the highway and was struck by an SUV.
Emergency responders attempted life-saving measures on the woman, but she succumbed to her serious injuries at the scene.
The SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More details on the accident were not immediately available.
The Plano Police Department is investigating the accident.
