1 Killed in Round Rock Car Crash at South Kenney Fort Blvd and Gattis School Rd

Round Rock, TX. – One person died in a suspected DUI crash on Sunday morning in Round Rock.

The fatal collision happened at the intersection of South Kenney Fort Boulevard and Gattis School Road at around 6 a.m., according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Christopher Lundquist, 28, was driving a car southbound on South Kenney Fort Boulevard when he ran a red light and struck a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Shruti Amin, who was heading eastbound on Gattis School Road.

Amin was pronounced dead at the scene.

Landquist was taken to the hospital and later booked into William County Jail. He was charged with intoxication manslaughter.

More information on the collision was not released.

The Round Rock Police Department is investigating the accident.
