1 Killed in Sabine Pass Crash on Highway 87 near Sea Rim
Sabine Pass, TX. – A man was killed in a car crash on Friday afternoon in Sabine Pass.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 3:18 p.m. on Highway 87 near Sea Rim.
A passenger car traveling east struck the rear of a dump truck that pulled from a private drive and began traveling east.
The driver of the passenger car, a 67-year-old Beaumont man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
More details on the accident were not immediately available.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
