1 Killed in San Antonio Motorcycle Accident on State Highway 16 South
San Antonio, TX. - A motorcyclist was killed in a collision on Sunday morning in San Antonio.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened in the 14000 block of State Highway 16 South at around 2:30 a.m.
A man was riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he slammed into the back of the vehicle.
The man was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was reportedly found intoxicated at the time of the crash and was arrested on suspicion of DWI.
The driver’s intoxication was not a contributing factor in the crash.
More details on the collision were not released.
The San Antonio Police Department is investigating the crash.
