1 Killed in San Antonio Motorcycle Crash at West Commerce St and Southwest 24th St
San Antonio, TX. - A motorcyclist was killed in a collision on Saturday morning in San Antonio.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of West Commerce Street and Southwest 24th Street at around 1:23 a.m.
A motorcycle was traveling westbound on West Commerce Street when he attempted to turn southbound onto Southwest 24th Street and collided with a pickup truck traveling eastbound on West Commerce Street.
The rider was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The pickup truck driver, who showed no signs of intoxication, remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More details on the accident were not available.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
