1 Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident at West Military Drive and Marbach Road
San Antonio, TX. - A 52-year-old woman and a dog died after being struck by a vehicle on Friday morning in San Antonio.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the accident happened in the 7400 block of West Military Drive near Marbach Road at around 11:45 a.m.
The woman was attempting to cross Marbach Road with her dog when they were struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound.
The woman was transported to the hospital, where she later died.
The identity of the woman was not immediately disclosed.
The dog sustained serious injuries and was euthanized due to its condition.
More details on the accident was not provided.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
