1 Killed in Smith County Crash at FM 2908 and FM 2767
Smith County, TX. – One person was killed in a car crash on Sunday night near Tyler in Smith County.
The fatal crash occurred at the intersection of FM 2908 and FM 2767 at around 9 p.m., according to the Smith County Sheriff's Office.
An SUV was traveling northbound on FM 2908 when it failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a pickup truck traveling westbound on FM 2767.
A passenger in the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene.
Paramedics transported both drivers and a passenger of the pickup truck to hospital with unknown injuries.
More information on the collision was not available.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
