1 Killed in Tyler Car Accident on Highway 271 near FM 2015
Tyler, TX. - One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday evening in Tyler.
The fatal crash occurred on Highway 271 near FM 2015, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
A vehicle was traveling southbound when it crashed into the rear of an 18-wheeler.
The medics pronounced one passenger in the vehicle dead at the scene.
Several passengers were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
More details about the crash were not provided.
The Tyler Police Department is investigating the accident.
