1 Killed in Waco Car Crash on I-35 near Mile Marker 293B

Waco, TX. - A 53-year-old woman was killed in a crash involving a semi-truck on Saturday morning in Waco.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred on I-35 near mile marker 293B at around 11:54 p.m.

The woman was driving a 2013 Cadillac sedan southbound on I-35 when she lost control, struck the guardrail, bounced back into the lanes and struck an 18-wheeler.

The Cadillac driver succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

A 49-year-old man male passenger of the Cadillac was transported to Baylor Scott& White Medical Center for treatment.

Additional details about the crash were not provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
