2 Injured in Beaumont Crash at I-10 near Walden Road

Beaumont, TX. - Two people were injured in a crash involving two commercial trucks on Friday morning in Beaumont.

The crash occurred on IH-10 near Walden Road at around 12:10 a.m., according to the Beaumont Police Department.

A commercial truck was traveling southbound when it struck a parked 18-wheeler on the shoulder.

The driver of the parked 18-wheeler had stopped to check on possible damage after it was sideswiped by another vehicle.

Emergency crews transported two drivers to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

More details on the crash were not provided.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
