2 Injured in Beaumont Crash on I-10 near Mile Marker 842
Beaumont, TX. - Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Tuesday afternoon in Beaumont.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on Interstate 10 near mile marker 842.
The driver of a semi-truck failed to control its speed and struck the rear of a pickup truck that was traveling westbound on I-10.
The initial crash caused a chain reaction collision involving two other semi-trucks.
The driver and passenger of the pickup truck were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
