2 Injured in Fannin County Crash on US-82 and FM 897

Fannin County, TX. - Two people were injured in a car crash on Monday afternoon in Fannin County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred on US-82 near FM 897 at around 3:37 p.m.

A farm tractor was struck from behind by an 18-wheeler hauling rocks.

The semi sustained major front-end damage.

Both drivers were transported to TMC Denison with unknown injuries.

More information on the collision was not immediately provided.

The Fannin County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
