2 Injured in Grimes County Crash at Highway 90 and County Road 180

Grimes County, TX. - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon near Anderson in Grimes County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on Highway 90 at County Road 180 at around 2 p.m.

A 2007 Dodge 3500 pickup towing a trailer was traveling westbound on Highway 90 when the driver attempted to turn onto County Road 180 and was hit by a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder traveling eastbound.

An occupant of the Nissan was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital with unknown injuries.

Another occupant of the Nissan sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

More details about the crash were not provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
