2 Injured in Jasper Car Crash at Highway 190 and Newton County Road 1022
Jasper, TX. - Two people were injured in a rear-end crash on Monday morning in Jasper.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred at Highway 190 and Newton County Road 1022 at around 9:00 a.m.
A Ford pickup truck, driven by Garridan Szemborski, 29, was eastbound on Highway 190 when it struck the rear of a Nissan Sentra driven by Troy Gulley, 54.
The Nissan was attempting to turn onto Newton County Road 1022 from Highway 190 when the crash happened.
The driver of the Nissan and his passenger, Cynthia Gulley, 49, were taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital with unknown injuries.
More details on the crash were not released.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
