2 Injured in Katy Crash on Katy Freeway near Grand Parkway
Katy, TX. - Two people were injured in a crash involving two semi-trucks on Thursday morning in Katy.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred on Katy Freeway near the Grand Parkway interchange at around 10:44 a.m.
An 18-wheeler and another tractor-trailer were involved in the crash. The semi carrying furniture hung over the Katy Freeway after the collision.
Two people sustained minor injuries and were rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
More information on the collision was not immediately available.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office is investigating the accident.
