Lubbock, TX. - Two people were injured in a car crash on Wednesday morning in Lubbock.

According to the Lubbock Police Department, the accident happened near Marsha Sharp Freeway and 82nd Street at around 4 a.m.

The circumstances surrounding the head-on collision were not immediately determined.

One of the drivers sustained serious injuries, while the other driver's condition remains unknown.

Paramedics transported both drivers to the hospital for treatment
