2 Injured in Pasadena Crash at Red Bluff Rd and Beltway 8

Pasadena, TX. - Two people were injured in a crash involving a Pasadena Police Department vehicle on Sunday afternoon in Pasadena.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Red Bluff Road and Beltway 8 at around 2:59 p.m., according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The patrol vehicle was responding to a major crash when it collided with a black Chrysler 300 traveling northbound in the third lane. The patrol vehicle had activated the emergency lights and the sirens.

Two people in the Chrysler 300 were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The officer required no further medical attention after being evaluated at the scene.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
