2 Injured in San Antonio Car Accident on U.S. Highway 281 near Bitters Road
San Antonio, TX. - Two children were hospitalized following a crash involving three vehicles on Saturday afternoon in San Antonio.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the accident occurred on U.S. Highway 281 near Bitters Road at around 3:20 p.m.
A vehicle was traveling on the frontage road when it entered the highway and collided with a pickup truck. The truck spun and struck another vehicle, rolled over, and ejected two children.
A 15-year-old suffered a broken ankle while an 11-year-old sustained unknown injuries. They were both transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The at-fault driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More information on the collision was not released.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
