2 Injured in Texarkana Car Crash at Main Street and W. 41st Street

Texarkana, TX. - One person was airlifted to hospital after being injured after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon in Texarkana.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at the intersection of Main Street and W. 41st Street at around 4:40 p.m.

A 15-year-old teen was driving a car northbound on Main Street at a high rate of speed when they ran a stop sign and collided with a Toyota Sequoia at the intersection.

The teen’s car then crashed into a house while the Toyota overturned.

One person was injured and was airlifted to Shreveport Hospital for treatment.

At least one person in the teen’s car was taken to Christus St. Michel Hospital in unknown condition.

More information on the collision was not released.

The Texarkana Police Department is investigating the accident.
