2 Killed in Burleson County Crash at State Highway 36 and FM 60
Burleson County, TX. – Two people were killed after a crash involving two vehicles on Sunday afternoon in Burleson County.
According to the Burleson County Sheriff's Office, the accident occurred at the intersection of State Highway 36 and FM 60 at around 2:15 p.m.
A Kia Optima was traveling on FM 60 and was attempting to make a left turn when it failed to yield the right of way and collided with a 2020 Ford F-250 traveling northbound on State Highway 36.
The driver of the Kia and their passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other passengers of the Kia sustained serious injuries and were taken to McLane Children's Hospital.
The driver of the Ford and two passengers in the truck suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to St. Joseph Health.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
