2 Killed in Grand Prairie Car Accident on N.E 5th Street
Grand Prairie, TX. - A driver and a juvenile passenger were killed in a car crash on Wednesday afternoon in Grand Prairie.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened in the 500 block of N.E 5th Street at around 4:30 p.m.
A man was driving a Chevrolet Suburban southbound at a high rate of speed when he struck the rear of a parked dump truck.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
One juvenile passenger in the car was taken to hospital where they later died.
Two other passengers were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
More details on the collision were not released by the officials.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
