2 Killed in Lubbock County Crash at FM 179 and FM 2641

Lubbock County, TX. - Two men were killed in a two-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon in Lubbock County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred at the intersection of FM 179 and FM 2641 at around 4 p.m.

A 2011 Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on FM 2641 when the driver failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and struck a 2022 Dodge Ram pickup traveling northbound on FM 179.

The driver of the Dodge Ram pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Camry was taken to University Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.

Additional details concerning the crash were not provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
