2 Killed in McAllen Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 2220 near Mile Line 6
McAllen, TX. - A father and his son were killed in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday morning in McAllen.
According to the Texas Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened on FM 2220 near Mile Line 6 at around 11:38 a.m.
Fabien Diego Guerrero, 31, was driving southbound in a white 2005 Toyota Scion when he veered into the northbound lane and struck a black 2026 Cadillac Escalade traveling northbound on FM 2220.
Fabien Diego was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fabien’s father, 64-year-old Fabian Guerrero was taken to DHR, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the Cadillac and a passenger were transported to DHR with minor injuries.
More details on the accident were not released.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
