2 Killed in Yoakum County Crash at State Highway 214 and FM 213
Yoakum County, TX. - Two people were killed in a two-car crash on Sunday night in Yoakum County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at the intersection of State Highway 214 and FM 213 at around 10 p.m.
A GMC Sierra pickup truck was traveling westbound on FM 213 when it pulled out in front of a Ford F150 traveling southbound on Highway 214 and the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the F150 and his passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
A 4-year-old passenger in the Ford F150 was transported to UMC with serious injuries.
Paramedics transported the GMC driver to UMC with serious injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
