3 Injured in Houston Crash at Southmore Boulevard and Fannin Street

Houston, TX. - Three people were injured in a crash involving a METRORail on Friday afternoon in Houston.

According to the Houston Police Department, the accident occurred at Southmore Boulevard and Fannin Street at around 12:30 p.m.

A METRORail train collided with a Houston Fire Department vehicle that was heading to a local hospital.

Paramedics rushed three people who were on the train to a local hospital for treatment.

The victims' injuries were non-life-threatening.

More details on the crash were not immediately available.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating.
