3 Injured in San Antonio Crash at E César Chávez Boulevard and S Flores Street
San Antonio, TX. - Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Tuesday morning in San Antonio.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the accident occurred at the intersection of East César Chávez Boulevard and South Flores Street at around 10 a.m.
A trooper attempted a traffic stop on a stolen BMW driven by a 28-year-old man.
The driver fled northbound on South Flores Street and a chase ensued. During the pursuit, the BMW sideswiped a vehicle, ran a red light and struck two trucks and a Range Rover.
The BMW driver was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Two female occupants of the Range Rover sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.
The man had an active warrant for his arrest.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
