3 Killed in Fort Worth Car Crash on State Highway 121 near North Riverside Drive

Fort Worth, TX. - Three people died in a multi-vehicle crash involving a wrong-way driver on Tuesday morning in Fort Worth.

According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the accident happened on State Highway 121 near North Riverside Drive at around 1:20 a.m.

A Jeep was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Highway 121 when it struck another vehicle with three occupants. No one in that vehicle reported serious injuries.

The Jeep continued traveling the wrong way and collided head-on with a four-door sedan carrying four people.

Paramedics pronounced the driver of the Jeep and two female passengers of the sedan dead at the scene. The identities of the victims were not immediately released.

The male driver of the sedan and a juvenile passenger were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

More details on the accident were not released.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
