4 Killed in DeKalb Car Crash on U.S. Highway 259

Bowie County, TX. - Four people were killed in a head-on collision on Saturday morning near DeKalb in Bowie County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened on U.S. Highway 259 at around 3:20 a.m.

A Nissan Altima was traveling northbound when it crossed into the southbound lane and collided head-on with an oncoming Dodge Charger.

The Nissan Altima driver and three occupants of the Dodge were pronounced dead at the scene.

Additional details on the crash were not available.

An investigation into the deadly crash is ongoing.
