4 Killed in Kenedy Car Crash at U.S. 181 and Hobson Road
Kenedy, TX. - Four people died in a tragic head-on collision on Thursday morning in Kenedy, Karnes County.
The fatal crash occurred at U.S. 181 and Hobson Road at around 8 a.m., according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
A 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling northbound on US 181 when it lost control, drifted into the oncoming lane of travel, and collided head-on with a 2015 black Chevrolet Tahoe.
The driver of the Tahoe was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Jeep and one passenger also succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
Paramedics transported a second passenger of the Jeep to the hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
