7 Injured in Houston Car Crash at Almeda Road and Reed Road

Houston, TX. - At least seven people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash involving a Metro bus on Thursday afternoon in Houston.

According to the Houston Police Department, the accident occurred in the 11000 block of Almeda Road at Reed Road at around 4 p.m.

The driver of a vehicle struck a bus with nine passengers and attempted to flee the scene. Two other vehicles were involved in the accident.

Fire officials said seven people, including one of the bus passengers, were taken to different hospitals.

The driver who fled the scene was later located and taken into custody by the police.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
