Adam Chapa Killed in Corpus Christi Crash at State Highway 44 and County Road 338
Corpus Christi, TX. - 36-year-old Adam Chapa has been identified as the man who died in a rear-end collision on Wednesday evening in Corpus Christi.
According to the Texas Department, the accident occurred at State Highway 44 and County Road 338 at around 8:10 p.m.
Chapa was driving a 2002 GMC 1500 westbound on SH 44 when he stopped to make a left turn onto C.R. 338 and was struck from behind by a westbound 2018 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 50-year-old woman
Chapa succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The male passengers of the GMC 1500, ages 27 and 36, were injured and were taken to Christus Spohn Hospital.
More details on the crash were not provided.
