Angelo Perez Killed in El Paso Crash at Woodrow Bean Transmountain Drive and Alcan Street
El Paso, TX. - 41-year-old Angelo San Roman Perez was killed in a car accident that left another injured on a Friday afternoon in El Paso.
According to the El Paso Police Department, the accident occurred at the intersection of Woodrow Bean Transmountain Drive and Alcan Street at around 3:19 p.m.
Perez was driving a 2006 Toyota Corolla on Woodrow Bean Transmountain at high speed when he ran a red light and struck a southbound on 2017 Chevrolet Impala driven by Orlando Cordova, 58.
The Corolla overturned while the passenger was ejected from the vehicle.
Perez succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene.
The passenger of the Corolla, 32-year-old Zachariah Michael San Roman, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Impala suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
