Calvin Cooper Killed in Wise County Pedestrian Accident on FM 730

Wise County, TX. – A man died after being struck by a car in Wise County on Monday night.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on Farm-to-Market Road 730 near County Road 4756 at around 8:25 p.m.

Calvin Lee Cooper was crossing a street and was struck by a northbound Nissan Frontier driven by a 28-year-old Aurora resident.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car was unhurt.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
