Charles Keil Killed in Grimes County Car Crash on State Highway 30 near FM 244
Grimes County, TX. - 59-year-old Charles Keil was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Sunday night in Grimes County.
The fatal collision occurred on State Highway 30 near FM 244 at around 11:17 p.m., according to the Grimes County Sheriff's Office.
A pickup truck traveling westbound on Highway 30 crossed into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with an eastbound1972 Dodge Polara operated by Charles Keil.
The Dodge was also hit by a motorcycle traveling westbound on Highway 30.
Keil was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
The driver of the pickup truck was flown to a Houston hospital for treatment.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the collision.
