Dorthey McGee and Claudie Walton Killed in Parker County Crash on State Highway 171

Parker County, TX. – Dorthey McGee and Claudie Walton were killed in a high-speed crash in Parker County on July 27.

The fatal crash occurred at State Highway 171 and Highway 377, according to the Parker County Sheriff's Office.

Skyler Davis, 24, was driving a pickup truck at a high rate of speed when he crashed into the rear of Hyundai Kona that was attempting to turn left.

A Chevy Malibu with three female occupants was pushed into oncoming traffic and was hit by a southbound Hyundai.

Dorthey McGee and Claudie Walton, who were riding in the Chevy Malibu, succumbed to their injuries.  

The third woman in the Chevy, Leslie Walton, was hospitalized with serious injuries.

The driver of the Hyundai, Alex Nunez, sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital.

The pickup driver was arrested for driving without a license and faces charges including serious bodily injury causing death.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
