Head-on Crash on Highway 6

Eastland County, TX – The Granbury couple killed in a head-on crash involving a semi-truck in Cisco on Friday afternoon have been identified.

The Texas Department of Public Safety identified the deceased as 56-year-old Douglas Hartley and 44-year-old Autumn Campbell.

The fatal collision occurred at approximately 3:41 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, on State Highway 6 at the intersection of Farm to Market Road 1853.

According to a preliminary investigation, Hartley was driving a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan northbound when, for some reason, the vehicle crossed the center line and entered the path of a southbound Freightliner truck tractor pulling a dirt semi-trailer, and the two vehicles collided head-on.

Hartley and Campbell suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators said Campbell was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected during the crash. Hartley was reportedly restrained.

The driver of the semi-truck, identified as Yancarlos Vazquez, 37, of Red Rock, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Eastland Memorial Hospital.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
