Douglas Martinez Killed in San Angelo Motorcycle Accident at Highway 87 and FM 2105
San Angelo, TX. – A motorcycle passenger was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Monday morning in San Angelo.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred at U.S. Highway 87 and FM 2015 at around 6:45 a.m.
A Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling northbound when it collided with a Chevrolet 2500 at the intersection.
A Chevrolet Trax that was attempting to enter US 87 from FM 2105 was also involved in the accident.
The driver of the Chevrolet 2500, William Dugan Obryant, 62, reportedly failed to see the motorcycle and failed to yield the right of way.
A passenger on the motorcycle, 56-year-old Douglas Molina Martinez, from San Angelo, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Obryant and a passenger of the Chevrolet Trax, Gene Edwards Perry, 75, sustained minor injuries and were transported to Shannon Medical Center.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
