Dru Wilson and 3 Others Killed in DeKalb Car Crash on U.S. Highway 259

Bowie County, TX. – Authorities have identified four people who died in a head-on collision on Saturday morning near DeKalb in Bowie County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened on U.S. Highway 259 at around 3:20 a.m.

23-year-old Dru Wilson was driving a Nissan Altima northbound when the vehicle crossed into the southbound lane and collided head-on with an oncoming Dodge Charger.

Wilson and three occupants of the Dodge, Payton Butler, 24, Joe Ellestad, 22, and Ty Bryd, 20, were pronounced dead at the scene.
