Eric Reyes Killed in El Paso Car Accident on Transmountain near Mile Marker 20
El Paso, TX. - 37-year-old Eric Reyes has been identified as the man who died in a two-vehicle collision on Monday afternoon in El Paso.
The fatal collision happened on Transmountain near mile marker 20 at around 4:38 p.m., according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Reyes was driving a black pickup truck westbound in the right lane on Transmountain when he reportedly made an unsafe lane change and collided with a white sedan that was traveling westbound in the left lane.
Reyes was transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
More details on the collision were not available.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
