Hockley County, TX – Two Levelland residents were killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Levelland, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Authorities identified the victims as 44-year-old Felicia Flores and her 14-year-old female passenger, both of Levelland. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision occurred at approximately 6:12 p.m. on July 2, 2026, at the intersection of FM 1585 and FM 168.

The Silverado struck the trailer and overturned.
Flores and the teen passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
A second passenger in the Silverado, 22-year-old Aliyanna Luna of Levelland, sustained serious injuries and was transported to University Medical Center in Lubbock for treatment.
The driver of the Ford, 31-year-old Abraham Knelsen of Seminole, was not injured.
Authorities said everyone involved was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing.
