Laredo, TX – Four people were injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Laredo, according to the Texas DPS.
The collision happened at about 7:57 a.m. on March 27 on Los Presidentes Boulevard near Isla Mujeres Drive.
DPS said the trooper was driving eastbound and had stopped to assist a disabled vehicle with two flat tires in the left lane. They had activated emergency lights and exited the patrol unit when the marked patrol car was rear-ended by a white Nissan SUV.
The SUV driver, a 29-year-old woman, a 6-year-old girl, a 1-year-old boy, and a 6-month-old girl were taken to Laredo Medical Center for treatment.
The trooper and the driver of the disabled vehicle were uninjured in the accident.
The DPS Crash Team is investigating the accident.
