Isolda Popa Killed in Jones County Crash at FM 1661 and Texas Highway 92
Jones County, TX. – A San Antonio woman was killed in a car crash on Wednesday evening in Jones County.
The fatal accident occurred at the intersection of FM 1661 and Texas Highway 92 at around 6:02 p.m., according to the Jones County Sheriff's Office.
Milena Sueiro Ramirez, 29, was driving a 2025 Toyota Corolla northbound on FM 1661 when he failed to stop at the stop sign and collided with a westbound 2018 Toyota Camry driven by David Eric Rivera.
33-year-old Isolda C. Roblejo Popa who was a passenger of the Toyota Corolla was taken to Hendrick North Medical Center where she later died.
Both drivers were taken to Hendrick North Medical Center with unknown injuries.
More details on the crash were not provided.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
