James Dunn Killed in Lubbock Motorcycle Accident at 82nd Street and Colton Avenue
Lubbock, TX. - 74-year-old James Dunn died several days after a motorcycle accident that happened in Lubbock earlier this month.
According to the Lubbock Police Department, the accident occurred around 9 p.m. on August 8, near 82nd Street and Colton Avenue.
James Dunn was riding a motorcycle westbound on 82nd Street when he attempted to turn left onto Elkhart and collided with a pickup truck traveling eastbound.
The rider fell off the motorcycle. He refused medical treatment at the scene.
However, the Major Crash Unit was later notified that James passed away on August 17 from injuries sustained in the crash.
The motorcyclist reportedly refused any medical treatment.
Further details regarding the crash were not provided by law enforcement.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
