Jeanne Avalos Killed in Kerrville Pedestrian Accident on Junction Highway

Kerrville, TX. – A 46-year-old woman died after being hit by a car on Saturday night in Kerrville.

According to the Kerrville Police Department, the accident happened around 9:28 p.m. in the 1200 block of Junction Highway.

46-year-old Jeanne Avalos was crossing the road and was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound.

Avalos was aided by passers-by at the scene before being taken by ambulance to Peterson Regional Medical Center, where she died from her injuries.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

More details on the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
