Jorge Luis Garcia Killed in Winkler County Crash on State Highway 18
Winkler County, TX. - A 19-year-old man died in a two-vehicle crash on Friday evening in Winkler County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred on State Highway 18 near mile marker 336 at around 5:30 p.m.
Jorge Luis Garcia was driving a 2012 Honda Accord northbound on State Highway 18 when he crossed the centerline for unknown reasons and struck a southbound 2025 Freightliner Cascadia driven by Luciano Flores Rodriguez, 55.
Garcia succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
