Kasidy Stewart Injured in Clifton Crash on Highway 6 near FM 2136
Clifton, TX. - A 30-year-old woman is in a coma after two-vehicle collision that happened in Clifton last week Monday.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on Highway 6 near FM 2136 on July 20.
Kasidy Stewart, 30, was driving a truck when she reportedly crossed into oncoming traffic to avoid a vehicle at the intersection but collided with a Ford F-250.
The truck entered a ditch and struck a metal bar.
Kasidy Stewart was rushed to the hospital after suffering a traumatic brain injury. She remains in a coma.
Kasidy’s 3-year-old son Asher, who was passenger in the truck, suffered a broken femur.
More details on the crash were not released.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
