Katie Harper and Gilbert Urbano Jr. Killed in Bedias Crash on FM 2620
Bedias, TX. – Authorities have identified two drivers who died in a head-on collision on Monday morning in Bedias.
According to the police, the accident happened on FM 2620 near Highway 30 at around 7:30 a.m.
41-year-old Katie Harper, of Bedias, was driving a Nissan Armada when the vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a Chevrolet Silverado driven by 49-year-old Gilbert Urbano Jr. of San Antonio.
Both drivers died at the scene.
Harper’s three juvenile passengers were hospitalized with serious injuries.
A passenger in the Silverado, 28-year-old Keith Hilton, was taken to an area hospital in serious condition.
More details on the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
