Kenneth Massey Killed in Crash at East 34th St and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in Lubbock

Lubbock, TX. - A 53-year-old man was killed in a crash involving two vehicles on Friday morning in Lubbock.

According to the Lubbock Police Department, the crash occurred at the intersection of East 34th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard access road at about 7:38 a.m.

Kenneth Massey was driving a pickup truck northbound on the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard access road in when he stopped at a stop sign, entered the intersection, and was struck by an eastbound tractor-trailer driven by Dameon Marmolejo, 29.

Massey was ejected from the pickup truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
